What up Kev Brown you got some heat man! But listen man, now im talking only from 2-3 years of what i have been learning of internet marketing so here is the deal.. you need to get your self out there more man! no more blog post a week you need to absolutley make a blog post daily! some peeps even 2 posts a day. Google loves that and will rank your blog higher for this kind of stuff. You need to get your twitter back up asap! use it as your business twitter account, post when you make new beats or have upcoming shows or new blog posts or new youtube videos !! content , content , content is the key my man!! its 2011 time to let peeps know your here and get your internet marketing skills blowing up! Just do 1 thing daily you will see how your name gets out there strong .. ok thats just my 2cents, you and peterock are 2 of my favorite beat makers keep up your nice work sir peace !!
DJ - Maybe Kev doesnt wanna post everyday. Maybe he has other things to do with his time. Every artist doesnt need or want to tweet their daily routine and thats what makes the word work - people are different. Further, everything does not work for every person. Nowadays everyone is an exhibitionist, and for what? So some fans could know what he ate today? Or know that he is making a beat? He makes beats all the time. I feel that the trends of today demand too much of artists, who really dont owe us fans anything. They make music, if you like it, support it. Also, despite your "2-3 years" of marketing experience, there are more than a handful of artists out there blogging and tweeting their most meaningless or relevant business happenings who are not able to sell records despite cultivating a large online following.
Kev Brown - Keep on making quality music and your fans will continue to support.
well yes your right you don't have to get personal like some of these people but just post when you got new heat or showxcase more of your music off! Currently on youtube there are tons of your songs out there but it would be great if you had your own youtube channel with all your songs on it. One last thing and im not trying to preach but at a minimum you should get on soundclick.com and promote your songs, if you look at the top 10 on there some of them fools are making like $500 a day from selling beats off thier pages! ok holla!
